Location

Lanigan Creative Designs is located in Gortnahoe on the border of Munster and Leinster, 10 miles east of Thurles, Co. Tipperary and 5 miles south of Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny.

Scope of work

At lanigan creative designs, we specialize in designing and creating fine furniture to commission or limited edition.  Furniture for all occasions and scale is welcome as this provides us with new and exciting challenges with each new client.   Our work can vary from large dining suites to small and delicate display pieces.

Design considerations

When designing with our clients we are conscious of many influencing factors such as:   Clients’ taste and preferences; sympathy with surroundings; careful selection of materials; sensitivity to proportions;  function; aesthetics;  finish and so on.

Manufacture

Since our furniture is made to last for this and future generations, care and excellence is ensured at every stage of manufacture.  Working with wood has an intrinsic value all of its own and requires an inherent understanding and love of this living and intricate material.

Materials used

Most of our furniture is created using only the finest native solid woods.   However, we also incorporate veneers of real wood and other materials such as brass, copper, glass etc. in some of our designs, depending on the commissioned brief and clients taste.

Final Creation

With care and attention at all stages of design and manufacture, we are confident that the final creation is timeless and celebrates the natural beauty of the wood being used.   The final product is truly worthwhile when our clients and future generations can take pleasure from our creations. .
